FAQ

What age is the 200mL Sippy Cup suitable for?

Designed for babies aged 6–12 months who are learning to drink from a straw and transitioning from feeding bottles to independent drinking.

Can my child drink while lying down?

Yes. The weighted straw follows the liquid as the cup tilts, allowing your child to drink from different angles. For safe drinking, adult supervision is always recommended.

Does my child need to bite the straw tip?

No. Simply place the lips around the straw tip and sip normally. The cross-cut valve opens with suction and does not require biting.

What if my child can't get any water from the cup?

Make sure the straw and weighted ball are securely connected, the cross-cut valve is clean and not stuck together or blocked, and all parts are assembled correctly. Start with a small amount of water for practice.

Why does water sometimes rise or come out of the straw?

Liquid may rise through the straw when the pressure inside the cup becomes higher than the air pressure outside. This can occur with warm or cold drinks and is a normal result of pressure changes.

How can I reduce water from rising or coming out of the straw?

After filling the cup, gently pinch or press the “+” valve on the straw tip before tightening the lid to release excess pressure. If you notice water rising in the straw, slightly loosen the lid, then retighten it to help equalize the pressure inside and outside the cup.

Why is my sippy cup leaking?

Check that the cross-cut valve is intact, the sealing ring is properly fitted and sitting flat, the straw and weighted ball are securely connected, and the lid is securely tightened.

Can I use milk or warm drinks?

Follow the product instructions for suitable drinks and temperatures. Milk or warm drinks may build up pressure inside the sealed cup. After filling, release excess pressure through the “+” valve before securely closing the lid.

How often should I clean it, and how can it be sterilised?

Clean the cup after each use. Disassemble all removable parts, wash thoroughly, and allow them to dry completely. The cup is suitable for boiling, steam, and UV sterilisation.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes. This product is dishwasher safe. Top-rack placement is recommended to keep all parts away from the dishwasher’s heating element.

Is it normal for a small amount of liquid to remain at the bottom?

Yes. A small amount of liquid may remain when the cup is nearly empty. Gently tilt the cup to help the weighted straw reach the remaining liquid.

How can I reduce odours?

Clean all parts promptly after use, especially after milk or other beverages, and allow them to dry completely before reassembly or storage.
